Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by a son, David Leon “D.J.” Wilcher, Jr. and a sister, Carolyn Wilcher.
David was a graduate of Western High School and a former employee of Topy America, Inc. in Frankfort, KY, and a member of Sand Spring Baptist Church. David was a huge collector but his greatest treasure was witnessing about Jesus Christ and the love for his family.
Including his wife, David is survived by three children, Lucas Wilcher, Kathy Ethington (Kip), and Linda Dadisman, all of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Konner and Kyndall Ethington, Levi and Lexi Dadisman; and his siblings, Donna Wilcher, Carl Wilcher, Jr. (Calla), and Debbie Bast (Roger).
Visitation will be 5 – 7 pm Monday, July 27th followed by the funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm Monday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Dr. Mike Hamrick will officiate the service. Burial will Tuesday with a committal service at 2:00 pm at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion.
