DUMAS - Bernice Craigmiles, 89, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Morrison Memorial Chapel with Wayne Norrell, longtime family friend, officiating and Art Lynch, minister of First Street Church of Christ, assisting. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Craigmiles was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Pleasant Hill, Ill., to Harold and Alta Gill Foster. On Nov. 7, 1935, she married E.T. "Bud" Craigmiles in Carrolton, Ill. She had been a resident of Moore County since 1955, was a homemaker and worked at the Memorial Hospital gift shop for a span of 10 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.T. "Bud" Craigmiles on May 30, 1997; a great-grandson, William Craigmiles; and two brothers.

Survivors include a son, Terry Craigmiles and wife Peggy of Dumas; two daughters, Linda Dawson and husband Gene of Dumas and Midge Harruff and husband Lynn of Dalhart; three sisters, Genevieve Roland and Maybelle Epley of Hannibal, Mo., and Maude Connor of Las Vegas; a brother, Tommy Foster of Rockmart, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Second, Dumas, TX 79029.

The family will be at 206 Pine.
