Funeral services for Thomas Andrew Cross, 57, were held Saturday morning, January 6, at Trewolla Funeral Home, at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Percy Herring conducting the services. Singing was by the quartet of the South Side Baptist Church, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bingham, Maxie Ellis, Odell Lenard and Miss Ann Cox played the piano. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Cross, formerly of Winona, Starkville, and Jackson, died after a long period of illness at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Friday morning.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Billy Sykes and 2 grandchildren of Jackson; one sister, Mrs. G.L. Garner; three brothers, Cleveland and W.L. Cross, both of Winona and J.M. Cross of Arkansas. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were his nephews; Emile Garner, Letau Cross, Russell Garner, Dennis Cross, Barksdale Garner and a friend, Clyde Dotson.
