Mrs. Balfour Staples, former long-time resident of Greenwood, died Thursday in the Winona hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were held in Winona yesterday at 2 p.m.
Surviving are her husband, Balfour Staples, and a daughter, Miss Barbara Staples, W'inona; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Kate Michel, Greenwood; Mrs. Estelle King, Lula and a brother, Jim Mathews of. Forest City, Ark.
