Audrey was he daughter of Cyrus Albynus and Anna Jase Herod Campbell. Her parents are buried in Guiceland Cemetery. She shares a stone with her husband, Marion Stokes Pelham. Their sons, Marvin Curtis Pelham and Melvin Stokes Pelham, are also buried in Garden of Memories. After Marion's death, she married Freeman Tomlin. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Sunday, 14 March 1971:

Mrs. Audrey Pelham Tomlin died Saturday at 8 a.m. in a local hospital following a long illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday in the first United Methodist Church, Elkhart, with the Rev. John Barfield officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Elkhart, under the direction of Hassell & Foster.

Mrs. Tomlin was born April 18, 1897, in the Salmon community, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Campbell. A retired teacher, she taught over 30 years in the Elkhart school system. She was an active worker in the First United Methodist Church, Elkhart and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Pallbearers will be A. T. Martin, Eugene Bratz, Turner Jones, Grover McDonald, Benton Knott, Henry McIver and J. O. Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Freeman Tomlin, Elkhart; three sons, Melvin Pelham, Winnsboro, Curtis Pelham, Houston, and James Pelham, Chicago, Ill., two brothers, Harris Campbell, Centerville, and Tucker Campbell, Grapeland, three sisters, Mrs. I. V. Little of Livingston, Miss Agnes Campbell and Mrs. Alvera West, Metuchen, N. J., and nine grandchildren.

The body will be at Hassell & Foster until carried to the church for services.
