Mary Elizabeth Goldey, 94, widow of Albert Goldey, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was born in Sadieville, KY on November 14, 1925 to the late Charles and Ellie Mae Gillispie Hamilton. She worked for Texas Instruments and was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Shelia Maggard, Versailles and Linda Goldey, Willisburg; her sons, David Goldey, Harrodsburg and Danny W. Gaines, Versailles; her sister, Rubie Hamilton, Lexington; her brother, Charles Hamilton, Sadieville; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jamie Chesser will be officiating.
