Jeffery Lewis Ankerholz, 65, of Hutchinson, the last cowboy, died June 4, 2020, at his home. He was born May 17, 1955, in Stafford, the son of Justin L. and S. Colene (Wagner) Ankerholz.

Jeff graduated from Buhler High School and was a truck driver for many years before retiring. He also enjoyed training and riding mules.

In October 1998, Jeff married Ramona Lynn Nichols in Hutchinson. She survives.

Also surviving are: brother, Kenneth Ankerholz, Inman; niece, Lana Lambert (Josh), Inman; and a host of friends.

Memorial services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
