Eddie Glyn "Glenda" Lantrip, 87, passed away peacefully in Sugar Land, TX, Thursday, July 16, 2020. She was born to Earl Almany and Annie Slaydon Almany on June 11, 1933, in Reeves, Louisiana. She graduated from Nacogdoches High School and was a telephone operator. Glenda was a longtime member of Green Acres Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her brother, Sammy Almany; sisters, Patricia Almany and Rita Kingrey; daughter, Teresa Crabb and husband Timothy; sons, Larry Rice and wife Kim, Ken Rice and wife Laura; grandchildren, Kirby Dennis, Kitt Crabb, Jesse Rice, Colby Rice, Kendall Chavez, Allyson Lake; great-grandchildren, Vincent Dennis, Gemma Chavez, Edge Chavez and Gabriel Lake.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Earlene Baggett and Wanda Alexander; brothers, Harry Almany, Butch Almany and Earl Almany, Jr.

Private interment will be at Cathedral in the Pines in Tyler, Texas.
