Andrew C. (Pete) Bailey, 69, a foreman at Screw Conveyor Corp. and Winona resident, died Monday morning, Dec. 21, 1987, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Bailey of Winona; five step-daughters, Mrs. Robbie Chesteen Cooper and Mrs. Sandra Chesteen Sproles, both of Winona, Mrs. Gyula Chesteen Harris of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Janice Kent Legrand of Denton, Texas and Mrs. Kay Kent Plummer of Booneville; two stepsons, Lucien Chesteen of Tuscumbia, Ala. and Richard Chesteen of Union City, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Howard and Mrs. Lurlene Mallett, both of Winona; a brother, Ennis Bailey of Winona and 19 grandchildren.
Memorial services were conducted from Lee Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22. The Rev. Bryan Scarbrough preached. Burial was in Winona Gardens of Memory.
Pallbearers were Eddie Howard, Lamar Howard, Chip Bailey, Rick Chesteen, Douglas Chesteen, Maze Barton, Jeff Plummer and Chuck Sproles. Lee Funeral Home handled arrangements.
