Mr. Edgar Galbreath, age 81, of 1904 North Maple Drive, Vidalia, died Monday morning, December 17, 1990 in the Veterans Administration Hospital of Dublin after a long illness. Mr. Galbreath was a native of Toombs County. He was retired Union Camp of Savannah, was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Vidalia.

Mr. Galbreath is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Hagan Galbreath of Vidalia; one son, Rev. Ed Galbreath of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Miss Sadie Galbreath of Vidalia; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Galbreath were held Wednesday morning, December 19, 1990 at 11:00 from the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Vidalia with the Pastor Rev. Ron Jackson, and Rev. Ken Thrift officiating. Interment followed at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at Hillcrest Cemetery in Savannah.

Active pallbearers were Warren Daniel, Ken Colson, Charles Roberts, Alton Sammons, Pat Currie, and Barry Brown. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Tabernacle Baptist Church Men's Bible Class. Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of Vidalia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
