Miss Sadie Galbreath, age 83, 303 Jarriell St., Vidalia, died Tuesday, July 8, 1997 in Toombs Nursing Home of Lyons after a brief illness.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County and a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church.

Survivors include three nephews, Rev. Edgar L. Galbreath, Stockbridge, Ga., Lee Wayne Hall and Benjamin Kent Hall, Maryland; one niece, Margaret Jones, Mt. Vernon; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy H. Galbreath, Vidalia.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 11, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ronnie L. Stewart and Son Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with the Rev. Edgar L. Galbreath and the Rev. Bob Corley officiating. Interment followed in the Galbreath Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bill Galbreath, Greg Tippett, Neal Tippett, Tim Galbreath, William Galbreath, and Ronnie Adams. Ronnie L. Stewart and Son Funeral Service of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.
