Bloomingdale - Mrs. Grace Allen White, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 1 at Hospice Savannah. The Bulloch County native was a Homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James White, Sr., and her son, Jimmy Newsome. Survivors: daughters, Geri Carter and Jackie L. White, both of Savannah; step-children, Harold White of Atlanta, Jim White of Savannah, Joe White of Macon, Ronald White of Savannah, Betty Faye Oliver of Savannah, Robert L. White of Savannah, Lil Williams of Houston, TX, Jesse James White, III and a step daughter-in-law, Bernice White; sisters, Josie Rollison, Nannie Sue Morris, and Annie Bell Brown, all of Statesboro; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Wednesday, Jan. 2. Funeral Services: 11:00 a. m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler.
