STATESBORO - Mrs. Josie Allen Cassedy Rollison, 97, died Wednesday at Eagle Health and Rehab under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
She was a native of Bulloch County and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Rollison retired from the Desoto Hilton Hotel in 1971.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Allen and Mamie Eldora Sammons Allen; two husbands, Rustin Cassedy and Troy Rollison; three daughters-in-law, Glenda Eskew Cassedy, Suzanne Villien Cassedy, Elaine LeBlanc Cassedy; and fourteen brothers and sisters.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ashton Cassedy of Crowley, LA, James R. Cassedy, and Coley and Patricia Cassedy, all of Statesboro; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation ill be held Saturday from 10:00-11:30 a.m., at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah, Ga. with Rev. Carl Ledbetter officiating.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
