Kaye, Aldyth (Aldy) Iris – Age 92 of Lighthouse Road, Digby, NS, passed away at Digby General Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2019.
She was born on September 1, 1927 in Digby, NS and was the youngest child and the last surviving member of L Newton and Dora (Handspiker) Ross of Culloden. For more than 40 years she worked at the Digby Pines Hotel retiring as head housekeeper. She enjoyed flowers, cats, birds,fine china, gardening, canning fruit and vegetables, travel and picnic trips. Some of her favorite activities were walking in the woods and along the shores of the Bay of Fundy.

She is survived by sister-in-law, Teresa (Lemoine) Hebb,many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of more then 58 years, Leo Kaye; brothers, , James (Lucy), John (Kathleen), Edward (Rae), Frank (Merna), Robert; sisters, Barbara (Elliott) VanTassell and Doris (Basil) Tufts. Visitation will be 7 – 9 pm on Thursday, October 17 with a Celebration of Aldyth’s life on Saturday October 19 at 2PM all From Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street Digby, NS. Rev. Mark Cress presiding, Internment in the Union cemetery, Culloden.
