Mary Anderson Erisman, 92, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on April 27, 1913 in Bothwell, Utah, a daughter of LeRoy and Emma Louise McFarland Ellis. Mary married LaVal C. Anderson on September 16, 1931 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death September 18, 1953. She then married Irvin Erisman in 1957. He later died in 1991. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had worked as a seamstress for American Sportwears. Mary was an accomplished seamstress and loved to crochet for her family and friends.
Surviving are two sons, Ellis Dee Anderson, Brigham City; Robert LaVal (Rose) Anderson, Bear River City; 18 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Fred Ellis, Ogden; Robert Ellis, Twin Falls, Idaho; Jean (Ray) Shaw, Brigham City; LaVell Brown, Grantsville.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, two daughters, Emma Lou Poulsen, Mary Valene "Boots" Toombs, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter and two great grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Bear River City Cemetery.
