Funeral services for Nathaniel W. Haynes, 76, who died Saturday night at the home of a niece, Mrs. H. M. Hayden near Massaponax, were to be held at 2 p.m. today at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home here, with burial at the old family home near Summit. The Rev. Harold O. Bartlett was to conduct the services.

Pallbearers were John Curtis, Bill Sneed, C. J. Hayden, Earl Sullivan, Tucker Anderson and Chester Mills.

Haynes, a Spanish-American War veteran and member of Round Oak Baptist Church had made his home with his niece for the past seven years.

Surviving, besides her, are a sister, Mrs. Emily Roberson, of Massaponax, and several other nieces and nephews.
