"MADISON - Miss Esther C. Endres, age 79, of 1124 Moorland Road, died on Thursday, June 9, 1988 in a local hospital. She was born on April 12, 1909 in Madison. She was the daughter of Frank Endres and Catherine Kessenich. Miss Endres was a real estate agent for Lucey Realty and First Realty Company. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was a very dear friend of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rose Halverson of Tucson, Arizona, and Mrs. Mary (Robert) Russell of Madison; two brothers, Paul (Sally) Endres of Madison and Art Endres of Landover Hills, Maryland; eight nieces; 11 nephews; 38 great-nieces and nephews; and six great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert in 1944; and a nephew, Richard Endres. Funeral services will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 1134 St. James Court, at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11. Father William DeBock will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, at the Joyce Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Apostolate to the Handicapped or St. Mary's Medical Center. Thank you for all the memories in which you played a part; you will always be remembered for your loving and generous heart."
