He was born in Norway. Aug. 27, 1860, and came to this country when 19 years old. He moved to Oshkosh in 1927 from Austin, Minn. He was married to the former Gertrude Satern in Bode, la., in 1891. Mrs. Amfrud preceded him in death.
Surviving are tour sons, Henry, Waseca. Minn., Alfred, Chicago, Pfc. Arthur, Fort Slocum, N. Y., and Elmer of Oshkosh; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Mason, and Mrs. F. M. Madson, both of Minneapolis.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Konrad funeral home with the Rev. Roy Gose officiating. Interment will take place in Riverside cemetery.
