Elmer M. Amsrud, 78, Oshkosh, died early Sunday morning in Mercy Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 22, 1904, in Sandstone, Minn., the son of August and Gertrude Satern Amsrud. He married Hazel Schmidt Walsh April 21, 1946, in Oshkosh. She died in September 1948. He then married Adabelle Rutherford Warner Dec. 12, 1969, in Green Lake. She died Feb. 4, 1983.
Mr. Amsrud was a World War II Army veteran. He was a construction worker.
Surviving are one brother, Alfred G. Amsrud, Winneconne; and one sister, Mrs. Frank (Anna) Madson, Austin, Minn.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, the Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
