CAMERON - Funeral services for Jessie William Hairston, 80, of Huntsville, were held Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Shuffield officiating. Burial followed in the Milano Cemetery. Mr. Hairston died Saturday, July 14 in a Temple hospital.
Mr. Hairston was born Jan. 9, 1927 in Rockdale to Allan and Nora (Price) Jackson.
Survivors include four sons, Jerry Hairston of Red Oak, Steven Hairston, Jessie Hairston, Jr. and Orbie Hairston, all of Teague; three daughters, Carol Arnold of Red Oak, Beverly Chappell of Palmer and Veronica Hairston of Teague; two brothers, Loye Lee Hairston of Whitney and Orbie Hairston of Belton; sister, Mae Johnson of Minerva; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
