Mr. Pierce was born in New York, in 1828, and was married to Miss Caroline Potter in 1847. The following are the children: J.J. Pierce, Mrs. Augusta Prentice, Henry, Theodore, David, Emma, Fred, Caroline, Lulu, and Elwin. Ms. Prentice is living in Sec. 33, Richland Precinct.
