J. F. MONTGOMERY OF ELKHART DIES

Elkhart, Texas.—John Frank Montgomery, 87, died Thursday in his home here after a short illness.
Montgomery retired some 20 years ago from the Magnolia Petroleum Company. He had formerly worked for Missouri Pacific Railway.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. U. VanSickle and the Rev. T. M. Dean at the First Baptist Church in Elkhart, Anderson County. Time of the services was pending late Thursday. Burial will be in the Elkhart Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Frank Montgomery of Elkhart; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Mortensen of San Salvador, Central America, and Mrs. E. T. Connally of Athens; a brother, Will Montgomery of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
