Arnold Pugh, age 85, of Asheboro died Friday, July 3, 2020 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mr. Pugh was born October 24, 1934 the son of Ray and Carrie Breedlove Pugh, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Pugh was a native of Randolph County and a veteran of the US Army. Arnold retired from Central Telephone after 33 years of service. Arnold own and operated Piedmont Diving, Inc in Asheboro for 10 years. He was a member of Cedar Falls United Methodist Church and loved the Lord. Arnold loved his family, was a jokester and enjoyed conversations with everyone he met. He had a passion for restoring his 1976 El Camino.
He is survived by his wife: Teresa Pugh of the home; daughter: Stephanie Pugh of Randleman and many friends and acquaintances.
Mr. Pugh will lie in state on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 1:00 – 5;00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203.
A private service will be held. Burial will be in the Cedar Falls United Methodist Church Cemetery.
