Eula received her elementary education at Indianapolis Public School #42 and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1936.
She was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost at a very young age at Christ Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith.
On October 10, 1942, Eula was united in Holy Matrimony to Elder Chester D. Hite, Sr. To this union four sons and five daughters were born. They later changed their membership to Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Church.
Eula L. Curry Hite departed this life for her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 10 days. One daughter, Mary Hite Smith, preceded her in death.
She is survived by four sons, Samuel T. Hite (Onelda), Chester Hite, Jr. (Sharon), Robert E. Hite (Deloise), and David L. Hite; four daughters, Jacqueline L. Hite, Esther R. Hite, Annette Hite Williams, and Carol Hite Stone (Tommy); one sister, M. Ethel Walton-Pullins; twenty-one grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and very special friends. Another deceased sister, Alice B. Curry Alexander, may be found on this site.
