Mrs. Margaret Knight Goes To Reward
Mrs. Margaret Knight, 64, died at her home in Harris county Sunday, Feb. 12 where she had been living for the past 15 months, having moved there from her home ill LaFayette, Ala. Mrs. Knight was born in Randolph County. Alabama, but after her marriage to John Knight, who preceded her in death in 1927, she lived in Chambers county where she was well known, having scores of friends and relatives who are left to mourn her passing. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove church, of Chambers county, and there her funeral was held on Tuesday morning at eleven o clock, with Rev. G. D. Hunt, of the Lanett Christian church officiating. Interment followed at the Pleasant Grove cemetery, Johnson & Blakely, funeral directors in charge of arrangements. Eight of her grandsons acted as pallbearers. The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Z. T. Jenkins and Mrs. E. B. Bishop of West Point; Mrs. A. W. Edge of Harris county; two sons, Dallas Knight, of Lanett, Ala., and Gehue Knight, of Harris county, Georgia; 23 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
