Thomas Bones Dies;
District Area Builder
Funeral services for Thomas P. Bones, 66, Washington area builder, were held yesterday at the Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Home, Bethesda. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bones, who died Tuesday at his suite in the Wardman Park Hotel, was in charge of construction for the late Harry Wardman for years. He directed construction of such projects as the Carlton Hotel, Hay-Adams House, Wardman Park and Cathedral Mansions. At the time of his death he was associated with the Henry J. Robb Real Estate Firm here. He was a member of the University Club and the Temple Noyes Masonic Lodge. He came to Washington in 1900.
Mr. Bones' wife, Mrs. Eloise Bones, died two years ago. He is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Barbara Bones Phillips of Boston.
