His wife Harriet Amanda fell ill and died on a wagon trail around LaRue, Henderson, Texas. They were headed on their way to California. Then he decided to stay put in Texas. He owned 800 acres of land in Henderson County. Thomas being a machinist, made a headstone for her, but owners of the property now, have moved the headstone to make way of a deer fence.
His children from Harriet are Margrett Elizabeth (Lewis), John Thomas, William Solomon, Ida (Cox), James H, Joseph Oliver, and Lewis R Perry.
His children from Dulcea are Andrew Jackson, Bee, Harry Tracy, Ada (Rogers) Perry.
His children from Steve Anna are Fenia, Dewey, Barney, Mandy E (Webb)
Tried to get a compensation for participating in the Civil War, but was denied. Assuming he fought in the Civil War and was of age to fight- Wondered if he did fight, was it in a milita being they can't find records of him on a muster.
