June 2, 1928 issue of Illinois State Register: "Tallula, June 2 - Funeral services for Mrs. Helena Frankenstein who met death by accident at Gillespie on Decoration Day were held at the Presbyterian church here this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Following a short service at the residence conducted by Rev. F. Schnathorst, pastor of St. Paul's church at Petersburg assisted by Rev. Bertram Betteridge, pastor of the local Presbyterian church. Burial was in Union cemetery."
