SHEPPARD, Seth of Rockdale. Age 90. Died 10/19/1973 (Friday) at Richards Hospital. Services held in Phillips & Luckey Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in the IOOF Cemetery, Rockdale. Rev. V.R. Whitting and Rev. Millard E. Brown officiated.

He had spent most of his life near Rockdale and was BORN 8/21/1883 in Williamson County, son of the late M/M. H.H. Sheppard. Married Miss Ruth Baldridge Scott at Cameron, 6/18/1914. Served many years on the Hamilton Chapel school board and the Triple 'A' Organization of Milam County.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Mrs. Ruth Sheppard of Rockdale; 3 daughters, Miss Doris Sheppard of Taylor, Mrs. Joe E. Gunn, Jr of Austin, and Mrs. Ruth B. Fisher of Beaumont; a brother, Lee Sheppard of Victoria; a sister, Mrs. A.B. Burkhart of Salado; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
