Mrs Cook was born in Sandoval, the daughter of John R and Laura (Westbrook) Altom. She married James E Cook in Centralia on July 3, 1930, and he preceeded her in death on Nov 21, 1980.
Surviving are three sons; John E Cook of Duncan, Okla, Roy James Cook of Centralia, and Harry J Cook with the U S Army in Germany; six daughters, Pearl Neuhaus of Hoyleton, Mary E Kyles and Grace Boyle, both of Centralia, Doris Eversgerd and Zelda Opal Cook, both of Nashville, and Helen Klingenberg of Duncan, Okla; 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs Cook attended the Assembly of God Church and was a past member of the VFW Post 2055 Auxillary, the Women of the Moose and the Centralia Eastern Star.
Rev William Pate will officiate at funeral services at 11am tomorrow at the Luer Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
