Octogenarian Resident of Portland 48 years

Funeral services for M. H. McClung, 84, a resident of Portland for 48 years, who died last Friday, will be held at the Portland Crematorium at 11 A.M. today, followed by vault entombment in Memorial hall. Rev. Oswald W. Taylor will officiate and the rites will be under auspices of Washington Masonic chapter.
McClung was born near Ottumwa, Ia., January 23, 1855, and married Belle C. Hartley on December 22, 1880.
He moved to Portland in April of 1891 and was associated in business with his brother, R. B. McClung, until retiring three years ago.
Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Chloe E. Daneke of Glendale, Cal.; and Miss Zoe E. McClung of Portland; a son, Millard H., of Portland; three grandsons, John E. Daneke of Glendale, Millard H. of Portland and Robert T. McClung of Portland; and the brother, Ryland, also of Portland.
