John Timothy ‘Tim’ Langston, age 55, Logansport, passed away at 9:38 a.m., on Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Tim was born Wednesday, September 9, 1964 in Logansport. He was the tenth child of J. T. and Evelyn Pope Langston. Two boys, then seven daughters, then they were blessed with number ten, a son.

Tim was a 1982 graduate of Logansport High School. He also graduated from Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana University, and Purdue University.

He was previously employed at Nelson Tube and Federal Mogul.

Tim was a member of Vineyard Community Church. He enjoyed all sports, especially men’s college basketball and the Indianapolis 500.

Surviving are his nine siblings, Larry Langston, Illinois, Steve Langston, Glinda (David) Whitham, and Shirley (Don) Crain, all of Logansport, Kathy (Perry) Shoemaker, Arizona, Connie (Alan) Pickering, North Carolina, Marilyn Singley, Cindy Langston and Susan Langston, all of Logansport.

Also surviving are fifteen nephews and nieces

Tim was preceded in death by his father, J. T. ‘Pete’ Langston in 2007, and his mother, Evelyn Pope Langston in 2012.

A private burial will be held at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery.
