Thomas Coffey was the first husband of Alice Buffmire Pascoe. Alice Buffmire was the daughter of Katherine Mathews Owen who also is buried in the Arvada Cemetery.
In Mr Coffey's inquest, witnesses Charles Bennett and Antone Mathews are both related by marriage to Mr. Coffey.

In the 1900 Federal census, Thomas Coffey (age 20, b. October 1879) was living with his parents in Arvada, Jefferson County, Colorado. Thomas was born in Michigan; his occupation was not given in the census record.
