Mrs. Gertrude C. Barney, 63, 715 Dorr Ave., died suddenly Thursday evening at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. David Kock officiating. Burial will be in Northland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Barney was born Feb. 21, 1914 in Sheboygan. She was a retired beautician. She married Leon Barney July 24, 1936 in L'Anse, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Leon; one son, James, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Maureen) Towne of Minneapolis; one brother, Erwin Hoehmke of Sheboygan; and seven grandchildren.
