Services for John H. Fraley will be 11 a.m. Friday at
Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, by the Rev. Willis Moe.
Burial will follow at Preston Cemetery, Alger. Friends may
call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and until the time of the service
Friday. He died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, June 13, 2004, at his home.
He was born Nov. 9, 1931, in Eden to Dan and Dolly (Watson)
Fraley. On Oct. 15, 1951, he married Mary Lou Benjamin and
she survives. Also surviving are two sons, L. Ben (Deb) of
Las Vegas, Nev. and Michael J. of Alger; a daughter, Diana
(Alan) Judy of Germantown; three brothers, William (Lonna)
of Kenton, James M. Fraley of Findlay and Carl (Pat) of Alger;
five sisters, Doris Shepherd of Forest, Joy (Wayne) Rush of
Bowling Green, Barbara Collins of Alger, Shirley England of
Kenton and Susan (Steve) Spearman of Boulder City, Nev.;
seven grandchildren, Michelle (John) Luellen, Shaun (Jennifer)
Fraley, Randy Fraley, Amber Fraley, Benjamin (Paula) Fraley,
Mitchell Judy and Kristin Judy; and three great-grandchildren,
Haleigh, Nikki and Taryn. He was preceded in death by a brother,
Loren. He worked at Stambaugh Farms for 40 years and was a
carpenter with Jim Lyle in construction for 10 years. Memorials
may be made to the Hardin County Hospice.
