Irvin F. Boyd
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007, in Fir Lawn Mortuary for Irvin F. Boyd, who died Feb. 16 at age 90.
Mr. Boyd was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Pollock, Mo., and moved to Hillsboro in 1935. He owned Irv's Grocery Store in Hillsboro for 22 years and was a surveyor at the same time, then was a self-employed house painter. In 1937, he married Louise Bybee.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Anita Perkins and Karla Frengle; sister, Vera Hayden; brother, Earl; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
