Dawn S. Warner, age 54 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at her home.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, June 4, 1965, daughter of Verna Wolfinger Stothoff of Flemington, NJ and the late Samuel Stothoff II, Dawn had resided in the Flemington area all her life.

A dedicated teacher, she had taught for twenty-eight years at Milford Elementary School, Milford, NJ where she was Teacher of the Year three times. Before teaching at Milford Elementary School, she was a teacher at Crossroads Christian Academy and was a counselor at Camp Endeavor near Stanton, NJ.

Dawn was a graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School where she was a four year member of the tennis team. She was a graduate of Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA, and received her Masters Degree in Education from The College of New Jersey. During her undergraduate years at Geneva College, she again was a four year member of the tennis team there which won it's first conference championship her senior year.

Dawn was a former member of the Flemington Baptist Church and was later a member of the Cherryville Baptist Church where she also taught at the Vacation Bible School there. In addition, Dawn was formerly a director of the Franklin Township Recreation Association. She was a member of the Rho Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society; member of the NJEA; member of the Tri-County Literacy Association; and Treasurer of the Milford Education Association.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her loving husband of twenty-eight years, Ronald M. Warner; a sister, Sandra Koehler of Lansdale, PA; an uncle and aunt, Richard and Priscilla Stothoff of Flemington, NJ; her aunt, Grace Richards of Topton, PA; two nephews, Robert Koehler and Brandon Koehler and several cousins.

Due to the pandemic, private graveside services will be held in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dawn S. Warner Memorial,C/O PTO, at Milford Public School, 7 Hillside Ave., Milford, NJ 08848
