Mrs. Janet O. "Net" Mitchum, 59, of 4483 Fulcher Road, died Sunday, July 10, 1994, at her residence.The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, with the Revs. William Jones and B.L. Canuette officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Mitchum, a native of Blythe, was a secretary with Iron Workers Union No. 709. She had lived in the Augusta area all her life and was a member of Faith Memorial Church, Martinez.

Lena Marie Weatherford Orander and her brother
James Edward Orander Survivors include her husband, Walter D. Mitchum; three sons, Ricky Jones, Hephzibah, Keith Jones, Augusta, and Walter D. Mitchum Jr., Graniteville; a step-daughter, Lisa D spells, Grainiteville; three brothers,
Jimmie Andrew Orander , Montmorenci,
Bernard Hillary Orander, Hephzibah and Judson Orander, Augusta; three sisters, Roberta Powell, Evans,
Callie Ann Orander Newman and Mary Walden, both of Augusta; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Donald Cadden, Tom Jones, Travis Griffin, Lamar Powell, Jimmy Griffin and Terrell Griffin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
