SPRING GROVE – Lettie E. Wehrly, 89, formerly of Spring Grove, died Friday morning at Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallastown.
The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born in Manheim Township, she was the daughter of the late David A. and Joanna (Sterner) Wehrly.
A life-long resident of Spring Grove, she was a member of St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church, UCC Congregation, and also its Sunday school. She was a member of Spring Grove Democratic Women’s Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Friendship Fire Co., Spring Grove, and the York Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a housekeeper for the late Miss Mel and Miss Romaine Glatfelter of Spring Grove for 47 years.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Emory Miller, Red Lion; one nephew; and two nieces.
Her pastor, the Rev. K. Ray Lecrone, will officiate.
