Beulah Phillips Bird, 80, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at the New River Valley Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kenton Bird, and also by Woodrow Phillips, Burman Phillips, and by one sister, Al­ice P. Graves.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Jack Hall, Radford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenton Lee and Jane Bird, Dublin; Charles Edwin and Cathie Bird, Pulaski; three brothers, Mark E. and Dewey Phillips, both of Radford; Tom Phillips, Dublin; one sister, Ella P. Long, Pulaski; seven grandchildren, Stephanie L: Bird, Paul W. and Honey Bird, Phillip A. Bird, Melissa Smith, Jamie Smith, and Andrew J. Hall; brother in-law, Craig Graves.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 25, at the Mul­lins Funeral Home, Radford, with the Rev. Terri Gregory of­ficiating. Interment followed in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Arrangements by Mullins Fu­neral Home, Radford.
