Mrs. Annie Baum, who was injured October 9, when the automobile in which she was riding overturned on the highway west of town, died about 3 p.m. Sunday, October 23. Mrs. Baum was born August 20, 1898, in Omaha, Texas,
and has been a resident of Broken Bow for over a year, coming here from Clebit. At the time of her death she had charge of the New State Hotel.
The deceased is survived by 3 children, Thomas and Susie Dodd, and Rufus Baum of Memphis, Tenn. The funeral service was held at her home, Rev. R. H. Sneed officiating. Burial was under the direction of Skaggs Funeral Home.
