WADDELL CELEBRATES 92ND BIRTHDAY!

Noah Waddell, born September 16, 1896, is one of the oldest residents of Franklin Furnace. Noah will celebrate his 92nd birthday on Friday, September 16, 1988.

A native of Elliott County, Kentucky, Noah came across the river to Scioto County in 1919, with his family on a ferry at Haverhill, Ohio. Noah is a World War I Army Veteran and a retired construction worker and farmer. He also ran a fruit and vegetable stand in Franklin Furnace for better than 20 years. Noah and his wife Elizabeth, have lived on the Back Road in Franklin Furnace for 49 years. They have three sons, Noah Jr., Hurston and Lawrence, all residents of Franklin Furnace. They have four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Needless to say, over the years Noah has seen many changes in his lifetime.

WE LOVE YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM YOUR FAMILY!
