Elizabeth (Baker) Bliss. Year of birth estimated from age at death (she died June 11, 1834, age 90), assuming that was her correct age. According to the 1891 Bliss genealogy, she died in Avon, NY. Maiden name from marker inscription. Parentage undetermined. Note that two of her sisters-in-law had Baker husbands. They seem to come from different but related families.
Grandson Giles Bishop Bliss (1803-1841) has a surviving marker in the cemetery from about that same period. Elizabeth's marker must have been legible at one time, but her husband Pelatiah's evidently not (his from 1812 and their son John's from 1815 would have been much older, although there are a few surviving markers from that period).
