Virgin was born in Prescott, Nevada Co, AR to Warren Rupert and Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Moore Miller. Her parents are buried in Starr Cemetery. She married John William Fincher 19 February 1901 in Anderson Co, TX. Their sons, Alpheus Eugene Fincher, Alverta Fincher, Dalton Mitchell Fincher, Howard Lynn, J. D. "Jimmy" Fincher, John Melvin and Louis Wilburn Fincher, and their daughter, Pearl Fincher Amason, are buried in Garden of Memories.

OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Monday, 23 September 1974:

Mrs. Virgin (J. W.) Fincher, 91, died in a local nursing home at 12 a.m. Sunday.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Monday) in Bailey Memorial Chapel with the Rev. W. R. Miller and the Rev. David Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery n Elkhart.

Pallbearers will be Boe Fincher, Buck Fincher, Ben Fincher, Jack Fincher, Lonnie Starr, George Miller and Loyd Miller.

Mrs. Fincher was born in Prescott, Arizona, on February 5, 1893 to Warren Rupert and Mary Elizabeth Moore Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Fincher on February 11, 1947.

Survivors include four sons, Melvin and Howard Fincher, both of Elkhart, Dalton Fincher of Beaver, Okla., and Eugene Fincher of Mineral Wells, two daughters, Mrs. Jewell Nelms of Euless and Mrs. Pearl Amason of Palestine; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Bell of Oklahoma.
