Mrs. Gibbons, 84, Dies Near Argyle

Mrs. Nannie Isabel Gibbons, 84 died at her home five miles southeast of Argyle Saturday evening at 9:30 o'clock. Funeral services were to be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Shiloh Church, followed by burial in the Shiloh cemetery, in charge of R.J Keller, an elder of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Gibbons was a member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving children are Mrs. Mary Martin, J.H and W.E. Gibbons of Argyle and Mrs. C.O. Stadt of Albuquerque, N.M. Two sisters, Mimes Fannie Schultz of Chicago and Laura Ferguson of Elbridge, Tenn and eight grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Gibbons had been a resident of Denton County for 51 years, coming to Texas from Dyer County Tenn., where she was born. She was married in 1881 to John Gibbons, who died in 1918.
