Frances Laurabelle Gatten, 79, of Carlisle, passed to eternal life on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle. She was born on May 17, 1941 in Aspers and was a daughter of the late Melvin and Frances (Miller) Emlet and was the widow of Sherrill Gatten, Sr. who passed away on Jan. 21, 2005.

She was a 1959 graduate of Biglerville High School. Frances was a loving homemaker and worked for 10 years as a pharmacy technician at The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Carlisle. Frances was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Carlisle.

She is survived by one son, Richard (Jody) Gatten of Mechanicsburg, one daughter, Lisa (Steve) Wannyn of Carlisle, three stepsons, two stepdaughters, two sisters, Edna Redding of Fayetteville and Shirley Withjack of Dillsburg, two grandchildren, one great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be private.
