Watertown – Mrs. Laura Dittmar, age 84, of 1121 Highland Ave., Watertown, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Marquardt Memorial Manor.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Werner officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and until 10 a.m. on Wednesday and at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials if desired by [sic] be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

She was born on July 11, 1905 in Baraboo, the daughter of John and Pauline Neuman. On March 2, 1946, she married William Dittmar at St. John's Lutheran Church n Madison. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1973. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Ladis Aid Society.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Lund of Watertown; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Herman (Gladys) Prochnow of Watertown; one stepson, Allison (Lorraine) Dittmar of Watertown; 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Jesse of Baraboo; Mrs. Edna Holland of Madison; Mrs. Viola Guetzke of Madison; one brother, Harold and wise Esther Neuman of Baraboo; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son in infancy, one brother, John, two sisters, Dahlia Jesse and Mabel Belter.
