Mike Jessen, 39, of Bronson, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 25, 1993, at a Sioux City hospital emergency room.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott Creek Presbyterian Church, Bronson, with Dr. Robert E. Peters officiating. Burial will be in Westfork Township Cemetery, Climbing Hill, Iowa.
Visitation will be noon to 9 p.m. today at the Christy Morningside Funeral Home, Sioux City, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Mr. Jessen was born August 13, 1954, in Sioux City and lived in Bronson all his life. He graduated from Lawton-Bronson High School in 1972, and married Lindy L. Larson February 23, 1974, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Sioux City. With his father, he owned and operated East Acres Oil over six years. He then worked for A.C. Rochester Products Company. He was an avid sports fan, an amateur softball player, a fisherman and camper.
He was a member of the Morningside Church of Christ.
