Obituary:
Mrs. Mavis Jenkins Haynie, age 71, of Kilmarnock, died July 10, 1988.
She is survived by her husband, Addie P. Haynie; one son, Stephen C. Haynie of Gaithersburg, Md.; one brother, D. C. Jenkins, Jr. of Kilmarnock; and two sisters, Gleniss Crowther of Kilmarnock and Lila M. Rose of Foxwells.
Services were held Wednesday at the Elmore-Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, with interment in the Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery with Pastor Eric Annandale and Pastor Glenn Russell officiating.
Pallbeareres were David Cheek, Pernell McNeal, Ralph Ransone, Robert Keyser, James McNeal, Carroll Lee Ashburn, Spencer Waters and Burdette Cockrell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of the Northern Neck.
