Wanda graduated from Broken Arrow High School, and on December 16, 1967, Wanda married the love of her life Walter Cornelius Sr.

She enjoyed baking, and she was especially known for her banana nut bread and egg rolls. A few of Wanda's other hobbies included watching old westerns and Stephen King films, going to yard sales and flea markets, and making native American style art.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Cornelius Sr.; parents, Raymond Bever and Zula Mae Bever; brother, Larry Bever; and sister, Carol Lawmaster.

She is survived by her one son Walter Cornelius, Jr. of Chouteau, OK, one daughter-in-law Teresa Cornelius of Inola, OK; one daughter, Angela Deitrick and Kenny of Pryor, OK; two brothers, Calvin Bever and Kenny Bever; two sisters, Barbara McConnal and Linda Sullivan; eight grandchildren, Walter Cornelius III and Alicia, Wyatt Cornelius, Emily Earven & Cory, Keith Deitrick, Ashton Stephens, Jessica Ward, Cory Ward, and Toby Ward; seven Great Grandchildren, Ariana, Jaxon, Cheyenne, Raiden, Caitlyn, Colt, and Cashlyn.
